Muan County Council Visits 5 Advanced Sites in Jeonnam Province

Seeking Measures in the Fields of Physical Education, Agriculture, and Ceramics Industry

[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] The Jeonnam Muan County Council (Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun) visited outstanding advanced sites in the fields of sports, agriculture, and ceramics industries in the province on the 31st of last month.

According to the council on the 2nd, this tour was organized with the participation of more than 20 members and council staff, including Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun, to strengthen the professionalism of legislative activities through advanced cases in each field and to seek policy proposal plans applicable to Muan County.


The main schedule included visiting the Goheung County Agricultural Technology Center to listen to opinions on implications such as the analysis of project effects following the creation and operation of an advanced agricultural technology center.


Afterwards, they carefully visited the Goheung Buncheong Culture Museum, Gangjin County Goryeo Celadon Museum and Sports Industrial Complex, and Haenam County Sports Industrial Complex in sequence.


Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun said, “We visited advanced sites to help our county develop in the future,” adding, “It was a valuable time to seek policy proposal plans applicable to Muan County.”


Vice Chairman Lim Dong-hyun stated, “The facilities of the Goheung Ceramics Museum are so well developed that tourists never stop coming,” and added, “It was a meaningful experience that allowed us to explore ways to revitalize Buncheong pottery and daily-use ceramics in our county as well.”


Meanwhile, the Muan County Council plans to visit Muan Hwangto Gaetbeol Land on February 1st and 2nd to listen to the difficulties and suggestions of the workers and to seek ways to promote tourism.
