Interpark Partners with Mohegan Inspire for Entertainment Business Collaboration

Resort with Advanced Multipurpose Theater Opens in Q4

Interpark announced on the 2nd that it has signed a business agreement with the US-based Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort (Mohegan Inspire) for cooperation in the entertainment business.

Global integrated resort developer Mohegan Inspire plans to create the largest integrated resort in Northeast Asia on Yeongjong Island, Incheon, through a four-phase expansion project. The first phase of development is underway, aiming to open in the fourth quarter of this year, and will include three 5-star hotels with a total of 1,275 rooms, a 15,000-seat arena, a convention center, and a casino exclusively for foreigners. The state-of-the-art multipurpose arena is designed to host various events such as concerts, sports games, award ceremonies, and traveling exhibitions.


The two companies will collaborate to provide differentiated entertainment content and experiences through joint promotion and production of performances, as well as partnerships in ticketing systems. Additionally, they plan to expand cooperation with Interpark’s parent company, Yanolja, to develop products combining entertainment, content, and Inspire accommodations.


Choi Hwiyoung, CEO of Interpark, said, "We expect to create various collaborations and synergies not only in the entertainment business but also in tour businesses utilizing resort accommodations."


Ray Finalt, CEO of Mohegan, stated, "Based on our outstanding capabilities operating award-winning venues in the US, we plan to cooperate to present top-level music entertainment content in Korea."
