This job training was prepared to improve the work adaptation ability of new paramedics and to develop expertise in various emergency scenes before deploying them to the field, thereby providing higher quality emergency medical services.

The training mainly consisted of ▲how to write paramedic activity logs ▲pre-hospital advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation training ▲kind customer service and prevention methods for assault damage ▲inspection methods for ambulances and emergency equipment, all designed to help new paramedics quickly adapt to the field work environment.

In particular, the individual training previously conducted at each fire station was integrated and conducted by the Fire Headquarters, with veteran paramedic instructors with over 10 years of experience in numerous disaster scenes serving as professional lecturers. They vividly conveyed field situations to the new paramedics.

Choi Mincheol, Chief of the Fire Headquarters, said, “I hope this practical adaptation training will help new paramedics who have taken their first step into the fire organization to adapt quickly,” and added, “I hope they will grow into true paramedics who protect the lives and property of residents.”
