(Damyang Scholarship Foundation) Selects 80 Talent Development Scholarship Students

Applications Accepted at Local Eup/Myeon Offices from the 1st to the 17th of Next Month

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] The Damyang Scholarship Foundation announced on the 31st that it will accept applications from the 1st to the 17th of next month for the selection of scholarship students for 2023.

This year's scholarship support scale is a total of 80 students and 184 million KRW, divided into selection and recommendation categories.

The selection category includes 61 students (53 Damyang scholarship students, 3 Mirae Cheonnyeon scholarship students, 5 Im Honggyun Deungbul scholarship students), and evaluates academic performance and living conditions based on selection criteria.

The recommendation category includes 19 students (14 Choi Duho scholarship students, 3 Dubong scholarship students, 2 Heo Youngho scholarship students), and plans to select students who sincerely participate in school life despite difficult circumstances among elementary, middle, and high school students in the district, recommended by the head of the Damyang Office of Education.

Applicants should prepare the scholarship application form and required documents and visit the town or township office of their residence to apply.
