Commemorating Selection in Korea Tourism 100 Selections

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam, is operating a stamp tour for Geochang tourism promotion at three locations within the Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land until the 27th of this month.

The county is conducting the stamp tour to commemorate the selection of Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land as the first site in Geochang-gun to be included in the ‘2023-2024 Korea Tourism 100’ carefully selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization.

This stamp tour, planned with a focus on promoting major tourist attractions in Geochang as well as widely publicizing local festivals, is scheduled to be operated four times annually.

The first stamp tour offers a beverage coupon exchange voucher upon collecting stamps at three locations within Geochang Anti-Aging Healing Land: Ganam Waterfall, Y-shaped Suspension Bridge, and the Barrier-Free Deck Road. Any tourist carrying a mobile phone can participate.

Following this, the second event commemorates the Month of Travel, the third coincides with the 33rd Geochang International Theater Festival, and the fourth celebrates the Geochang Hanmadang Grand Festival. Through these stamp tour participation opportunities, tourists visiting Geochang-gun throughout the year are expected to enjoy healing at tourist attractions while also joining local festivals and collecting stamps, achieving two goals at once.
