[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] On the 31st, Ulju-gun, Ulsan City held the '2023 Doodream Goods Support Project Agreement Ceremony' at the Eunhaengnamu Hall on the 7th floor of the county office, hosted and sponsored by Lotte Samdong Welfare Foundation and organized by the Ulju-gun Women's Volunteer Association.
The Doodream Goods Support Project is a program that provides customized goods support, environmental improvement, and care services to low-income households including basic livelihood security recipients, near-poverty groups, and others such as disabled and multicultural families, to support stable living. The project started in 2010 and is now in its 13th year.
According to the agreement on this day, by the end of this year, 90 million KRW will be spent to provide customized necessary goods worth about 300,000 KRW per household. The goods consist of 53 types including home appliances and daily necessities.
A representative of the Lotte Samdong Welfare Foundation said, “This year, we expect that various volunteer activities by excellent volunteer organizations will be further activated, benefiting many marginalized groups,” and added, “We deeply thank all the volunteer organizations and members participating in the project.”
