On the 2nd of next month at 10 a.m., Buk-gu will sign a business agreement with the Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency in the Buk-gu Office Situation Room to promote e-sports activation and game industry development.
Through this business agreement, both organizations pledge mutual cooperation in various areas including ▲activation of e-sports and promotion of the game industry ▲expansion of human and physical infrastructure for the game industry ▲and other joint projects.
Accordingly, Buk-gu will actively discover and promote joint cooperative projects for the activation of e-sports and the promotion of the game industry, while the Gwangju Information and Culture Industry Promotion Agency will support game infrastructure and content such as e-sports stadium facilities, equipment, technology, and personnel.
In particular, based on this year's business agreement, Buk-gu plans to hold e-sports competitions involving diverse genders and age groups to foster a local e-sports boom and expand its base.
