Briefing Session on Scheduled Orders for This Year at City Hall on the 31st at 2 PM

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Busan City will hold the '2023 Scheduled Information Technology Project Briefing Session' at 2 p.m. on the 31st in the International Conference Hall on the 12th floor of City Hall.
This year, Busan City will invest a total of 61.3 billion KRW in 479 projects, including 27.3 billion KRW for 84 projects at the city hall and business offices, 18.5 billion KRW for 294 projects in districts and counties, and 15.5 billion KRW for 101 projects at 15 public corporations and organizations.
The major projects this year include social vulnerability support services applying IoT-based smart shoes, establishment of an integrated management system for public property, construction of a Busan-type data integration platform, big data analysis projects, and the development of a next-generation integrated information system.
The briefing session is open to anyone, including citizens and ICT company representatives. The city, districts and counties, local public corporations, and public institutions relocated to Busan will provide information on project orders, related regulations, and precautions regarding this year’s information technology projects.
The briefing will proceed in the order of ▲Introduction of Busan City’s IT policy goals and promotion directions ▲List of scheduled IT projects and major project guidance ▲Detailed explanations by project managers for projects with budgets over 300 million KRW ▲Q&A session. In particular, a 1:1 communication corner between institution project managers and companies will be set up to exchange various opinions and listen to difficulties faced by local companies.
A city official said, “We organized this integrated briefing session to encourage more institutions to participate in cooperation with public institutions in the Busan area and to introduce as many scheduled IT projects as possible to expand participation opportunities for local ICT companies. We will continue to hold regular briefing sessions annually to support the growth of the local ICT industry and contribute to revitalizing the regional economy.”
