Samjo SPP, the manufacturer and distributor of the American premium ice cream brand Bursters, announced on the 31st that it will actively launch domestic marketing efforts to promote Bursters.
Bursters plans to release a new ice cream product in the first half of the year and also introduce a pint-sized product larger than the current size. Recently, it has entered major online platforms such as Fashionplus, 10x10, and SSG.com. It is also in the process of joining a food dawn delivery platform.
Marketing through product sponsorship is ongoing at famous clubs like Race and Sound. Bursters plans to place dedicated freezers within the clubs to build a premium ice cream image. Discussions are also underway to sell exclusive cocktails containing the ice cream. Since its creation in 1989, Bursters ice cream has rapidly grown, ranking among the top 100 restaurant franchises in the United States. Korea is the only country where overseas business has been approved.
A representative from Samjo SPP stated, "For premium ice cream, selling both the taste and the product image is most important," adding, "We are targeting food and fashion platforms while simultaneously working to expand both our scale and substance by recruiting a factory manager from a major ice cream company."
