Yeonggwang-gun to Recruit 'Community Village Support Group' Until the 8th of Next Month

[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kang Jongman) announced on the 30th that it is recruiting the ‘Community Village Support Group’ until the 8th of next month to establish an efficient and stable support system for village communities.

The Community Village Support Group is a group of experts supporting business consulting for about 30 village communities recruited through the previous public contest, assisting community networking and on-site activities through village visits.

They will also play roles such as building a database through village resource surveys, monitoring, accounting (settlement) support, supporting residents' autonomous council activities, and producing videos of village activities.

A village community is a community where residents care together for marginalized neighbors for the village, cultivate the environment around the village, participate in village festival activities with neighbors, and further engage in activities that can generate village income by utilizing village resources such as village cafes and village workshops.

Those who wish to apply can download the submission form from the announcement section on the county website, fill it out, and apply by visiting in person or via email.

A county official said, "Through the active activities of the Community Village Support Group, a support system for village community projects will be established, and through this, we will do our best to ensure that love and laughter never cease in villages losing vitality due to population decline and aging population."
