SPC Group's Paris Baguette announced on the 30th that it has surpassed 100 franchise stores in the United States.
Paris Baguette recently opened its 100th franchise store, the 'Red Bank Branch,' in Monmouth County, New Jersey, on the U.S. East Coast.
According to Paris Baguette, the Red Bank Branch is located in a local mainstream commercial area where 95% of the nearby population are locals. Paris Baguette plans to sign an additional 160 franchise contracts this year and aims to open 1,000 stores nationwide in the U.S. by 2030.
Since entering the U.S. market in 2005, Paris Baguette has established 120 stores, including both directly operated and franchise stores, across the East and West Coasts, settling in major local commercial areas such as Times Square, Midtown, Upper West Side in Manhattan, New York, and Downtown Los Angeles. Moving forward, they plan to steadily open stores in new regions beyond the main hubs near Silicon Valley and the West Coast bases covering LA and San Diego, as well as the East Coast bases connecting New York, New Jersey, and Boston, including North Carolina, Colorado, Maryland, Washington, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Hawaii.
A Paris Baguette representative stated, “With the U.S. franchise business surpassing 100 stores, our global business is gaining momentum. We will accelerate our global operations this year with expansion into Canada and the completion of a factory in Malaysia.”
