Kim Ki-hyun, a presidential candidate of the People Power Party, revealed a photo taken with volleyball player Kim Yeon-koung and singer Nam Jin on the 27th.

Kim expressed his sincere gratitude, saying, "I sincerely thank player Kim Yeon-koung and teacher Nam Jin, who took precious time to support me in the party leader election and even prepared a bouquet," and emphasized, "With your generous support and encouragement, I will definitely win."
Meanwhile, Kim is a candidate in the People Power Party leadership election scheduled for March 8. After former People Power Party lawmaker Na Kyung-won announced her withdrawal from the race on the 25th, the election has effectively narrowed down to a two-person contest between Kim and lawmaker Ahn Cheol-soo.
In this context, a poll showed that Kim is leading in support following Na's withdrawal.
According to a survey conducted by Realmeter commissioned by Media Tribune from the 25th to 26th, targeting 1,009 adults nationwide (including 422 People Power Party supporters) (sampling error 95% confidence level ±3.1 percentage points (p), response rate 3.2%), Kim ranked first in party leader support among People Power Party supporters with 40%. Ahn, who was third with 17.2% in the previous survey, rose to second place with 33.9% support this time.
