Mokpo National University Lifelong Education Center, Awards for Outstanding Instructors and Contributors to Development

12 Awardees Contributing to the Revitalization of the Curriculum

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] The Lifelong Education Center of Mokpo National University (President Song Ha-cheol) (Director Lee Jin-hyung) recently announced on the 26th that it held the '2022 Lifelong Education Center Development Meritorious Persons and Excellent Instructor Awards Ceremony.'

The awards ceremony was held for dedicated instructors who contributed to the activation of lifelong education courses and external cooperative institutions of the Lifelong Education Center, divided into three categories: educational achievements, long-term service, and contributions to the local community.


At this awards ceremony, a total of 12 people were awarded, including one for external cooperative institution development merit and 11 excellent instructors.


Director Lee Jin-hyung of the Lifelong Education Center said, “I extend my congratulations and gratitude to Director Lim Gwang-min of the Korea Senior Citizens Association Jeonnam Regional Employment Support Center, who contributed to the development and activation of the Mokpo National University Lifelong Education Center over the past year, as well as to the dedicated instructors selected as excellent instructors,” and added, “We will continue to strive to provide a better educational environment.”


Meanwhile, the Mokpo National University Lifelong Education Center will recruit students for the first semester of the 2023 academic year from the 30th of this month to the 24th of next month.


The recruitment courses include a total of 171 educational courses in six fields: humanities and social sciences, foreign languages, health and sports, counseling and children and youth, accounting information, and culture and arts.


In particular, new courses have been established such as Urban Farming, Developing My Child’s Creativity, Overseas Purchasing Agency Start-up, Salsa Dance, Senior Customized Exercise Instructor, Health Qi Gymnastics Meditation Breathing, and Piano courses.
