The central region will gradually become cloudy from night, and snow is expected late at night in Incheon, the western coast of Gyeonggi Province, and the northern western coast of Chungnam Province.
Expected snowfall amounts are over 10 cm in some areas of Incheon, the western coast of Gyeonggi, and the western coast of Chungnam; 5?10 cm in the mountainous areas of Jeju Island; 2?7 cm in Jeju Island (excluding mountainous areas); 1?5 cm in Ulleungdo and Dokdo; around 1 cm in the western coast of Jeonnam Province and the five western islands; and less than 0.1 cm in the western coast of Jeonbuk Province.
As of 7 a.m. that day, temperatures are Seoul -17.0°C, Incheon -16.5°C, Suwon -16.7°C, Chuncheon -20.9°C, Gangneung -14.9°C, Cheongju -16.7°C, Daejeon -17.7°C, Jeonju -14.6°C, Gwangju -13.3°C, Jeju -3.1°C, Daegu -14.0°C, Busan -11.7°C, Ulsan -13.2°C, Changwon -13.1°C, etc.
The forecasted daytime high temperature is between -7°C and 1°C, with Seoul expected to reach a high of -6°C.
With slightly strong winds, the wind chill temperature will be 5 to 10 degrees lower than the actual temperature, making it very cold. Special caution is advised for frozen water pipes, meters, boiler freezing, and cold damage to agricultural and livestock products and fish farms.
Fine dust levels will be 'Good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
Sea waves will be 1.0?3.5 m in the East Sea coastal waters, 0.5?3.0 m in the West Sea coastal waters, and 0.5?3.0 m in the South Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are expected to be 1.5?4.0 m in the East Sea and 1.0?4.0 m in the West and South Seas.
