The Ministry of Strategy and Finance's Lottery Committee announced on the 19th that after the Public Procurement Service conducted proposal evaluations (evaluation committee) and price assessments for the three consortia participating in the bid for the next lottery consignment project, the Haengbok Lottery Consortium was chosen as the preferred negotiator.
Haengbok Lottery, with Campsys as the representative company, includes 11 companies in the consortium such as Megazone, Maxst, Hecto Financial, and K-Sign. The Haengbok Lottery Consortium scored 99.92 points (technical 90, price 9.92), surpassing the Donghaeng Lottery Consortium's 96.94 points (technical 88.5, price 8.44) and the Nanum Lotto Consortium's 95.21 points (technical 87, price 8.21).
The Haengbok Lottery Consortium proposed an average commission rate of 0.87% of sales in the bid. Considering the expected average annual lottery sales of 7.9 trillion KRW over five years, it is projected to earn an average annual profit of 68.7 billion KRW. In the selection of the 4th term (2019?2023) lottery consignment operator, the winning commission rate was 1.13%.
The Lottery Committee and the Public Procurement Service plan to conduct technical negotiations with the Haengbok Lottery Consortium, selected as the preferred negotiator, and sign a contract in February.
The next lottery consignment operator will complete project preparations by the end of this year and will operate and manage the lottery business for five years from January 1 next year to December 31, 2028.
