[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Ssangyong Construction, which recently welcomed a new owner, announced on the 19th that it has conducted executive promotions for 2023.
This personnel move follows the appointment of CEO Kim Gi-myeong and President Kim In-su at the end of last year, and is explained as a strategy to create synergy after the merger and acquisition (M&A).
Through this personnel change, new deputy general managers were appointed in five divisions: development projects, housing & customer service, technical estimation, plant, and public sales. The focus was on strengthening site management in civil engineering, architecture, and plant-related fields, as well as enhancing sales and order acquisition capabilities. Along with this, three existing deputy general managers were promoted to general managers.
A Ssangyong Construction official stated, "We expect this personnel change to inject new vitality into the organization and accelerate the strengthening of corporate competitiveness and order acquisition capabilities," adding, "We plan to maximize efficiency and expertise and improve the company's financial environment to accelerate a new leap forward."
