A woman in her 20s who directly caught a robber trying to steal cash at a cosmetics store has become a topic of interest after the news surfaced late.

According to Yonhap News on the 19th, around 11:40 a.m. on December 30 last year, a robbery occurred at a cosmetics store in Buan-gun, Jeonbuk. Lee (29), who had briefly gone to the restroom, heard a noise near the cashier and turned her head to find a man taking cash.

Lee ran to the cashier and caught the man who was holding the cash in his hand. At the same time, she quickly called 112 with her other hand to report the incident.

During this process, the man strongly resisted by choking Lee’s neck and biting her body. However, Lee firmly held the man’s nape and arms with both hands and did not let go. She even tripped the man by hooking his leg and subdued him.

Afterward, while Lee called the police again, the man hurriedly fled outside the store.
