Chairman Kim Jae-sik and all council members visited three traditional markets in the district to purchase ritual items and urged residents to use traditional markets to help revitalize them amid severe cold and economic recession.

Chairman Kim said, "Due to the unusually frequent heavy snowfall and severe cold this year, visits to traditional markets have decreased, causing market merchants to go through difficult times. As we approach the Lunar New Year holiday, I hope everyone comes to the traditional markets full of taste and charm to prepare for the holiday in a warm and friendly atmosphere."
