Gokseong-gun (Sa) Hanguk Nanum Yeonmaeng Donates 1,000 Bags of White Rice

22 Social Welfare Facilities and 313 Senior Centers Delivered

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jongseon] Jeonnam Gokseong-gun (Governor Lee Sangcheol) announced on the 13th that the Korea Sharing Federation, a corporation, donated 10,000kg (1,000 bags) of white rice.

The 1,000 bags of white rice donated that day will be delivered to 22 social welfare facilities and 313 senior centers in Gokseong-gun.

A representative of the Korea Sharing Federation said, “We donated rice to create a warm holiday atmosphere ahead of the Lunar New Year. We will continue to carry out donation activities to help marginalized and struggling neighbors even a little.”

Governor Lee Sangcheol said, “We thank the Korea Sharing Federation for donating rice to help us spend the cold winter warmly. The donated white rice will be delivered with the spirit of sharing to social welfare facilities and senior centers in the area.”
