Muan-gun, Recruiting Companies to Participate in Hope Job Incentive Support Program

Support Up to 8 Million Won Per Person

[Muan＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) is recruiting participating companies for the 2023 Senior Hope Job Incentive Support Project until the 27th.

According to the county on the 18th, the Senior Hope Job Incentive Support Project is a program to encourage employment of middle-aged and older adults and to alleviate manpower shortages in small and medium-sized enterprises. It provides incentives to companies that hire unemployed middle-aged and older adults and to the hired individuals.

This year, the project scale is for 2 people, with a monthly employment retention subsidy of 500,000 KRW paid to the hiring company for up to 10 months per person, and a monthly employment incentive of 300,000 KRW paid to the hired middle-aged and older adults.

Last year, Muan-gun supported 8 million KRW for one participating company and one participant.

Participating companies must be small and medium-sized enterprises located in Muan-gun with 5 to fewer than 300 regular employees, have plans for additional hiring beyond current regular employees, and be able to pay at least the minimum wage to be eligible to apply.

Selected companies must hire middle-aged and older adults within 3 months, and if not hired within the period, the selection will be canceled.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the Future Growth and Job Team of Muan-gun, and detailed information can be found on the Muan-gun website.
