Smart Talent Development Institute Donates 30 Million Won for 'Hope Sharing Campaign'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Smart Talent Development Institute (Director Cha Junsup) donated 30 million KRW to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea for the 'Hope 2023 Sharing Campaign'.

According to Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae on the 17th, the donation ceremony was attended by Cha Junsup, Director of Smart Talent Development Institute, Ji Changhwan, Director of KBS Gwangju Broadcasting Station, Kim Jingon, Secretary General of Gwangju Community Chest of Korea, and other officials from the Community Chest of Korea, brightening the event.

The donation will be fully used through the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea to support living expenses and medical costs for vulnerable groups in the region.

Director Cha Junsup of Smart Talent Development Institute said, "We donated the funds to deliver hope to neighbors in need as we welcome the new year 2023," adding, "I hope this will bring comfort to marginalized neighbors who are struggling in the cold winter."

Meanwhile, Smart Talent Development Institute has established itself as a regional leading IT talent training hub, nurturing high-quality IT professionals in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Trainees have proven their skills by consecutively winning major domestic hackathon competitions through projects.

Additionally, Director Cha Hyunseok received a commendation from the Minister of Employment and Labor for contributions to new technology and industrial transition vocational training, operates the Gwangju Artificial Intelligence Academy, runs the Ministry of Science and ICT corporate membership SW camp, manages specialized training such as responding to industrial structural changes with the Gwangju Human Resources Development Committee, and as an operator of youth-friendly ESG programs, is revitalizing the local economy.
