Sold through home shopping... Over 10,000 calls for hit sales
Lotte Tour Development recently announced on the 16th that its European Top 3 Business Packages, launched through home shopping, achieved nearly 100 billion KRW in sales.
More than 10,000 people (19,570 calls) expressed their intention to travel within a month for the European Top 3 packages recently introduced by Lotte Tour Development. The cumulative home shopping sales reached 94 billion KRW.
First, the Northern Europe Business Package sold on Lotte Home Shopping from 9:35 PM on the 15th received 3,250 calls within 60 minutes, generating approximately 27 billion KRW in sales.
This package is a 10-day trip starting in May, traveling through four Northern European countries including Denmark and Norway by cruise and mountain train, using business class on Lufthansa German Airlines and Turkish Airlines.
The Swiss package launched on December 18 last year recorded 4,832 calls and 42 billion KRW in sales, and the Greece package introduced for the first time this year on the 1st of this month recorded 2,875 calls and 25 billion KRW in sales.
Kwon Ki-kyung, Head of Travel Business Division at Lotte Tour Development, explained, "Overseas travel demand, which had been suppressed due to COVID-19, is exploding, and combined with customers' trust in the high-priced premium packages offered by Lotte Tour Development with 52 years of tradition, it seems that the more expensive the package, the better it sells."
The special Egypt charter package launched last September also sold out all 523 seats despite being a high-priced business product costing up to 10 million KRW. Additionally, the cruise resuming operations after 3 years and 8 months, which started sales in mid-last month, attracted over 2,000 customers within about a month for the 1.98 million KRW per person travel package (Sokcho to Japan).
