Choi Young-gap, Chairman of the Sungkyunkwan Ritual Establishment Committee, is holding a press conference on February 16 at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul, titled 'Simplifying Lunar New Year Ancestral Rites Together.' Sungkyunkwan, which advocates for 'Confucianism suited to the times,' provided guidance on the proper way to perform New Year's bows ahead of the Lunar New Year and recommended keeping ancestral rites simple.
