Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Partners Public and Private Sectors to Improve Residents' Health

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 16th that Hapcheon Public Health Center has established a health promotion cooperation system with private organizations and institutions to enhance the perceived effectiveness of health promotion projects and improve the health behaviors of local residents.

The public-private organizations participating in the agreement include Hapcheon Police Station, Hapcheon Fire Station, Gyeongsangnam-do Hapcheon Office of Education, National Health Insurance Service Geochang Branch Hapcheon Office, Korea Senior Citizens Association Hapcheon Branch, Hapcheon Sports Council, Hapcheon Daycare Center Association, National Restaurant Association Central Hapcheon Branch, Samsung Hapcheon Hospital, Hapcheon Goryeo Hospital, and Hapcheon Hospital, totaling 11 locations.

A public-private health promotion project agreement signing ceremony is taking place.

This agreement mainly covers cooperation in health projects such as mutual support for creating a healthy Hapcheon, promotion of community-integrated health promotion projects, cancer screening campaign, dementia patient management, mental illness and suicide prevention projects, health education for local residents, operation of health promotion programs, and information sharing.
