[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Organizing Committee of the Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo in Gyeongnam announced on the 16th that it held two expert advisory meetings on the 11th and 12th to develop differentiated exhibition production content for the expo to be held in September.
The advisory meetings were attended by about 30 people, including Lee Yoon-je, CEO of World Robot Korea, Chae Min-gyu, professor of spatial design at Myongji University and Sancheong Expo advisory committee members, the main agency, organizing committee staff, and Sancheong County officials.
Through the two advisory meetings, the attendees expressed opinions on various implementation plans such as the renewal exhibition production of the Expo Theme Hall within Donguibogam Village, the composition of exhibition and experience content in the pre-experience hall, and the exhibition production of the temporary exhibition hall, which is the main venue of the expo.
To enhance the economic feasibility of the expo, the organizing committee plans to solidly fill the exhibition content by making good use of existing facilities such as the theme exhibition hall, herbal exhibition hall, and pre-experience hall, and to minimize the placement of temporary exhibition halls within the expo venue.
During the expo period, the temporary exhibition halls will be composed of the World Traditional Medicine Hall, a video complex exhibition hall introducing traditional medicine; the Anti-Aging Healing Hall, a specialized space emphasizing experiences composed of various Korean medicine contents; and the Korean Medicine Anti-Aging Industry Hall, an exhibition, sales, and exchange space for the anti-aging industry through attracting domestic and international companies, institutions, and buyers.
Park Jung-jun, secretary-general of the organizing committee, said, “We will appropriately reflect the various opinions discussed at this advisory meeting in the event execution plan to provide diverse attractions to visitors attending the expo.”
The 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo, under the theme “Promise of the Future, Traditional Medicine in the World,” is scheduled to be held for 35 days from September 15 to October 19 in the Donguibogam Village area of Sancheong County, Gyeongnam.
