From the 26th, 59 Cultural Centers Nationwide and Website to Expand Evening Classes Including Craft Accessories and World Cuisines
Lotte Mart announced on the 16th that it will begin recruiting members for the '2023 Spring Semester Cultural Center' starting from the 26th of this month through its 59 cultural centers nationwide and its website.
This spring semester, evening classes have been significantly expanded to allow office workers to learn and enjoy hobbies after work. In fact, during last winter semester, when evening classes were expanded by 10%, the number of evening class members increased by more than 20% compared to the previous semester. This spring semester, adult classes after 6 PM on weekdays will be expanded by about 30% compared to last winter semester to improve accessibility for office workers.
A variety of craft classes where participants can calmly complete projects after work will be offered. Classes include making interior accessories such as lighting, flowerpots, and candles, as well as various themed classes like calligraphy, hand knitting, and flower decoration. Stores with certification courses offer more in-depth lessons. In addition, health classes such as yoga, Zumba, Pilates, and dance, as well as music classes including piano, cello, drums, and vocals, have been further expanded during evening hours. From easy-to-learn language and humanities classes to cooking and baking classes, a wide range of experts will help participants make the most of their time after work.
For customers interested in international cuisine, an online global cooking class will be held. In collaboration with the multinational cooking company 'Amility Studio,' participants can learn about the culture of each country from local professional cooking instructors and receive meal kits containing authentic recipes to complete dishes from around the world. In February, there will be two types of trifles (Apple Crumble, Strawberry Trifle) made with a British instructor, and in May, a paella & sangria class with a Spanish instructor will be held. These classes can be applied for at 44 stores nationwide.
Along with collaborative classes with infant body & healthcare brands for managing infant health during the spring seasonal change, various events will be presented. 'Warm Jjimjilbang Play' and 'Bath Play' using the 'BambooBebe Gentle Bamboo TokTok Face Towel,' made from 100% bamboo fiber, have been prepared. From February 1 to March 31, an event will be held for infant class applicants where signing up as a member on the BambooBebe official mall will grant an 'Onmaeul Loop Towel' and a 10% discount coupon for towels and indoor wear. Classes using 'Mustela Stelatopia Foam Shampoo,' which is good for dry infant skin, such as 'Fun Foam Play' and 'Experience Performance' will also be opened.
Spring semester classes can be registered at Lotte Mart Cultural Centers’ 59 offline stores nationwide, as well as through the Lotte Mart Cultural Center website and mobile website. When registering for regular classes online, a one-time event per ID will be held, offering a 5,000 KRW discount from January 26 to February 9.
