Seven Eleven is holding a 'Lunar New Year Discount and Giveaway Event' for convenience store holiday shoppers.

Seven Eleven announced on the 15th that it will hold a 'Seol Holiday Discount and Giveaway Event' for convenience store holiday shoppers.

In this event, discounts and giveaways will be offered on six types of fresh ingredients such as tofu, eggs, and bean sprouts, as well as five seasoning products including flour. Products like Seven Farm Fresh Eggs, CJ Delicious Soy Tofu, and Pulmuone Washed Bean Sprouts will be sold at up to 20% off, and Nonghyup Gamheung Apples will be offered as a buy one get one free (1+1) promotion. Baeksul Multipurpose Flour, Baeksul Pancake Mix, and Baeksul Canola Oil will have a buy two get one free (2+1) offer. According to Seven Eleven, during last year's Seol holiday period, sales of tofu and bean sprouts increased by 30% compared to the previous year, eggs by 20%, cooking oil by 50%, and flour by 150%.

Discounts will also be applied to 22 types of alcoholic beverages. Bundle products such as Heineken Silver Can (4-pack) and Tsingtao Beer Can (6-pack) will be discounted up to 40%, two types of Tokki Soju (Black and White) will be 10% off, and four types of Makgeolli including Im Chang-jung Misugaru Makgeolli will be sold at a 10% discount when purchasing two bottles. Seven types of This Month's Wine will be sold at a 25% discount when paid with Nonghyup Card or Naver Pay, and three types of sake will be offered at a 20% instant discount when paid with Nonghyup Card.

A Seven Eleven representative said, "Many customers shop and prepare alcoholic beverages at convenience stores during the holiday season, so we prepared the Seol Holiday Discount and Giveaway Event," adding, "In this era of high prices, we hope customers can conveniently and affordably prepare for Seol at their neighborhood convenience store."
