Former National Intelligence Service Director Park Ji-won stated on the 14th, "I am making efforts as if I am cursing at a wall toward the current government."

On the same day, Park appeared as a special lecturer for the 99th anniversary of former President Kim Dae-jung's birth at the 5.18 Memorial Culture Center in Seo-gu, Gwangju, recalling former President Kim, who emphasized the 'conscience in action.'

Park said, "Former President Kim referred to the conscience in action as cursing at a wall," and emphasized, "I am resisting to practice this teaching."

Park added, "Some tell me, 'Do not rejoin the Democratic Party, so you won't be prosecuted,' or 'Do not appear on broadcasts, so you won't be punished,'" and said, "Whenever I hear such words, I recall former President Kim's words to resist, and I am resisting the current government in my own way."
