Hyundai and Kia have prepared this free inspection service to check the main parts and functions of vehicles before long-distance driving during the Lunar New Year holiday, aiming to prevent various accidents in advance and help customers have a safe journey home.
The inspection items include ▲engine operation status ▲coolant and oils ▲brake pads ▲tire wear and air pressure ▲lighting device operation status, etc. Washer fluid refill service is also provided. For electric vehicles, EV coolant and high-voltage battery systems are additionally inspected.
Customers who wish to use the service must download a free inspection coupon from each company's integrated customer service applications such as ▲myHyundai ▲MyKia ▲MYGENESIS from the 12th to the 13th of this month.
Afterward, Hyundai customers can visit one of the 1,282 Blue Hands centers, and Kia customers can visit one of the 771 AutoQ centers to present the free inspection coupon and receive a vehicle inspection.
A Hyundai and Kia official said, "We prepared the free inspection service to assist with long-distance driving during Seollal, the nation's biggest holiday. We will continue to focus more on strengthening vehicle inspections for Hyundai and Kia customers to repay their support."
