Suncheonman International Garden Expo, Continued Ticket Purchases in the New Year

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] With the opening of the 2023 Suncheonman International Garden Expo just over 80 days away, the enthusiasm for purchasing tickets wishing for the expo's success is spreading even in the new year of the Year of the Rabbit.

On the 5th, the Suncheon Junior Chamber (President Park Jong-cheol) delivered a ticket purchase certificate worth 5 million won to the Suncheonman International Garden Expo Organizing Committee (Chairman Noh Gwan-gyu).

The Suncheon Junior Chamber plans to carry out nationwide promotional activities to encourage interest and participation among the youth for the expo.

Then, on the 11th, a special ticket delivery ceremony was held at 'Green Island,' where the asphalt road once only traveled by cars has transformed into a vast garden.

At this location, Yeosu MBC (CEO Lee Ho-in) pledged to actively engage in broadcasting and reporting related to the 2023 Garden Expo and delivered a ticket purchase certificate worth 10 million won to the organizing committee.

On the same day, Cheongam University also contributed to the expo's success by purchasing tickets worth 20 million won.

Chairman Noh Gwan-gyu (Mayor of Suncheon), who attended the delivery ceremony, said, “I deeply appreciate the support sent from various sectors such as youth organizations, universities, and local media for the success of the expo.” He added, “The 2023 Garden Expo is not just an exhibition to be viewed but a venue showcasing a new standard for future cities through creative urban planning. With the success of the expo, Suncheon will leap forward as the hub city of the South Coast Belt, the only alternative to solve urban problems presented by the metropolitan area.”

The 2023 Garden Expo will be held from April 1 to October 31.

Tickets can be purchased through Interpark (Ticket), the Yanolja website and dedicated app, or the expo website.

Purchasing tickets in advance by March offers a 10% discount.

The 'full-period ticket,' which allows entry throughout the expo period, can be purchased at a 20% discounted price.
