Selection of Support Recipients Through Agricultural Industry-Academic Cooperation Review
[Gurye=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Miseok] Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it will accept applications until February 3rd for 20 rural development projects (total project cost 1.13 billion KRW) to be promoted this year to introduce new technologies and revitalize rural communities.
The main projects include ▲ 2 projects in the food crop sector such as a pilot for one-time treatment pest control of rice seedbeds ▲ 7 projects at 7 sites in the horticultural crop sector such as expanding mechanization for labor-saving in seasoning vegetable crops ▲ 2 projects at 2 sites in the livestock sector such as a pilot for reducing production costs of apicultural products ▲ 6 projects at 92 sites in the return-to-farming and rural settlement sector including support for housing repair costs for returnees and support for agricultural facility settlement for returnees.
Applicants must be farmers, farmer organizations, or agricultural corporations whose registered address and actual residence are in Gurye-gun, and must actively accept new technology pilot factors and be able to spread new technologies to neighboring farms to enhance project effectiveness.
In particular, farmers must be registered as agricultural management entities, and after on-site inspections for each project targeting applicant farms, support recipients will be selected through the Agricultural Industry-Academic Cooperation Deliberation Committee.
For detailed information, refer to the project application guide distributed to village chiefs and the county website, visit the town and township agricultural consultation offices by February 3rd, receive consultation, and then submit the application form.
