Emart Everyday announced on the 9th that it has signed a business agreement with Fresh Easy for the development and sale of new ready-to-eat meal products.
Through this business agreement, the two companies will promote ▲collaboration for diversifying ready-to-eat meal products ▲smooth supply cooperation for product launches ▲marketing activities to enhance branding and sales.
Emart Everyday and Fresh Easy aim to develop, produce, supply, and sell new Home Meal Replacement (HMR) and Restaurant Meal Replacement (RMR) products that can lead the market.
Jung Jung-kyo, CEO of Fresh Easy, said, “We have signed this business agreement with Emart Everyday to introduce a wider variety of HMR and RMR products to consumers,” adding, “In the future, by combining the strengths of both companies, we will present various ready-to-eat meal products that consumers desire.”
Kim Sung-young, CEO of Emart Everyday, stated, “Providing a diverse range of high-quality foods with regional characteristics is one of the core competitive advantages of supermarkets,” and added, “Through cooperation with Fresh Easy, which holds a dominant position in the domestic ready-to-eat meal sector, we will further strengthen our competitiveness in the ready-to-eat meal market, where continuous demand growth is expected due to the trend of eating at home during economic downturns.”
