Hanyang University Hospital Signs MOU with Kakao Healthcare to Establish Digital Healthcare

[Asia Economy Reporter Myunghwan Lee] Hanyang University Hospital announced on the 8th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kakao Healthcare to establish digital healthcare.


The signing ceremony held on the 4th was attended by key officials including Hospital Director Yoon Ho-ju, Deputy Director Song Soon-young, Kakao Healthcare CEO Hwang Hee, and Vice President Yoon Ki-yoon.


Through this agreement, Hanyang University Hospital and Kakao Healthcare will collaborate on ▲establishing digital healthcare ▲building and utilizing a medical big data cooperation system ▲developing advanced systems to improve work efficiency ▲and other smart medical system developments. The two institutions plan to continue cooperation aiming for mutual joint development by establishing a cooperative system through comprehensive business partnerships.


Director Yoon said, "Hanyang University Hospital is promoting a smart hospital through digital innovation such as artificial intelligence, precision medicine, and big data," adding, "We expect mutual development between the two institutions through the development of a digital healthcare system utilizing medical big data through this agreement."


CEO Hwang stated, "Kakao Healthcare was launched to solve areas that patients need to manage themselves beyond medical treatment by building a data-based digital healthcare ecosystem," and added, "We will do our best to provide healthcare services that offer convenience to the public through collaboration with Hanyang University Hospital."
