[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The National Theater Performing Arts Museum announced on the 5th that it will newly launch the archive platform ‘Byeolbyeol Stage,’ which provides information and materials related to performances.

‘Byeolbyeol Stage’ is an archive platform where anyone can search and view approximately 430,000 items of materials such as performance posters, programs, and photos from the 1950s onward for free without signing up.

This renovation focused on making it easier and more convenient for users to access materials. User convenience was enhanced through a simplified main screen, detailed classification of search menus, and the establishment of a curation corner.

The main screen was improved with a simple and intuitive design centered on key information, enhancing readability and emphasizing core keywords in search categories. The search menu was subdivided into categories such as ‘Genre Search,’ ‘Media Search,’ and ‘Organization Search,’ and convenience was improved so that category-based searches are possible from any screen.

In particular, the newly added curation corner allows users to view ‘Recently Registered Materials,’ ‘Recommended Materials,’ ‘Published Materials,’ and ‘Monthly National Theater.’ It is placed on the main screen so that first-time visitors can easily and conveniently search for materials. Especially, the ‘Published Materials’ and ‘Monthly National Theater’ sections have added e-book viewing functions to allow detailed examination of the materials.

Earlier, the National Theater Performing Arts Museum temporarily opened the revamped page of ‘Byeolbyeol Stage’ from December 6 last year and conducted a user satisfaction survey for about two weeks. Overall satisfaction was found to have improved in terms of service diversity, menu composition convenience, and information search convenience.

A representative of the Performing Arts Museum said, “We plan to continue prioritizing user convenience and expand various services.”
