[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Jipyeong Brewery announced on the 5th that it has completed the 'Jipyeong Blue Brewery,' a small-batch, multi-product production facility in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.
The Jipyeong Blue Brewery has an annual maximum production capacity of approximately 520,000 bottles and plans to produce a diverse lineup of alcoholic beverages including premium takju, yakju, distilled spirits, and liqueurs. It has introduced differentiated state-of-the-art equipment not typically seen in traditional takju companies, such as cap sterilization conveyors, cold infusion tanks, vacuum distillers, HTST (High Temperature Short Time) pasteurizers, and weighing fillers.
A representative from Jipyeong Brewery stated, "We opened the Jipyeong Blue Brewery to produce a wider variety of Korean traditional liquors," adding, "We will launch various new products and planned items."
