[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Park Ok-bun, a member of the Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly (Democratic Party of Korea, Suwon 2), has consecutively received plaques of appreciation from Suseong High School Alumni Association, Yeongsaeng High School, and the social welfare corporation 'Kkum-eul Kiuneun Jip' (House Nurturing Dreams), among other institutions and organizations in the Suwon area.
Park received a plaque of appreciation from the Suseong High School Alumni Association for her significant contribution to the selection of the 'Green Smart Future School' for the future development of the school, leading efforts to nurture the dreams of youth.
She also received a plaque from Yeongsaeng High School for her considerable help in building an open library and a safe resting area for students, such as the school store, and from the social welfare corporation Kkum-eul Kiuneun Jip in recognition of her dedicated support for the healthy growth of children.
Park said, "I have always done my best in legislative activities by visiting sites to listen to the voices of residents from various social classes," adding, "Going forward, I will prioritize the welfare of residents and the protection and support of vulnerable groups such as children, youth, the elderly, the disabled, and women. I will listen more carefully to the vivid and diverse voices from the field and faithfully fulfill my role as a representative of the residents by proposing substantial policy alternatives."
