Paldo's 'Paldo Bibimjang' Surpasses 20 Million Units in Cumulative Sales

On the 4th, Paldo, a comprehensive food company, announced that the cumulative sales of its flagship brand product, 'Paldo Bibim Sauce,' have surpassed 20 million units.


This achievement comes six years after Paldo entered the market in September 2017 with a pouch-type all-purpose bibim sauce. At that time, Paldo officially launched the product in response to consumer demands for a separate release of the liquid soup from Paldo Bibimmyun, which was known as an all-purpose sauce that pairs well with any ingredient.


Paldo Bibim Sauce surpassed 20 million units in cumulative sales as outdoor activities such as overseas travel and camping increased following the lifting of social distancing measures. Sales in 2022 also increased by 115% compared to the previous year.


Paldo Bibim Sauce has steadily diversified its product line. Representative examples include 'Paldo Bibim Sauce Spicy Flavor' targeting spicy food enthusiasts and 'Paldo Bibim Sauce Butter Soy Sauce' for customers who prefer a mild taste.


As customer demands diversify, Paldo plans to launch a new low-calorie product in February and continue releasing related products.


A Paldo representative said, “Paldo Bibim Sauce has now established itself as an all-purpose cooking sauce,” adding, “We will continue to introduce products that consumers want in line with the trend of diversified tastes and preference for convenience foods.”
