[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su] The Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) on the 3rd released some images of the lunar surface and Earth taken from lunar orbit by Korea's first lunar exploration orbiter, Danuri, since its lunar orbit insertion maneuver on December 17 last year.
The released images include footage taken from an altitude of 344 km above the Moon on December 24 (top) and from 124 km above the Moon on December 28 (bottom).
The released images were captured by the high-resolution camera (LUTI) onboard Danuri, clearly showing the craters on the lunar surface and the appearance of Earth.
