'Korea Open' Winner Lim Hee-jeong Signs Contract with Sportizen

Im Hee-jeong (23) of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour signed a management contract with Prein Global Sports Division Spotizen on the 3rd.

Im Hee-jeong, a former national team member, emerged as a KLPGA star by winning a total of three titles, including one major victory in her debut season in 2019. She added two more wins in 2021 and 2022. Known for her calm and smart playing style, she is nicknamed the "Desert Fox" among fans.

She won the KLPGA Popular Player Award, voted directly by fans, for two consecutive years in 2021 and 2022. In 2022, she also set a new record for the lowest score ever while winning the national title, the "DB Group 36th Korea Women's Open."

Im Hee-jeong, who will leave for training camp in Thailand in mid-month, said, "I am excited to be working with Spotizen starting in 2023," and added, "With a mindset of starting anew in a new environment, I will show my best to the fans."
