Hong Taeyong, Mayor of Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, said this at the 2023 New Year's Opening Ceremony held on the morning of the 2nd.

About 250 people, including Mayor Hong and senior officials, attended the ceremony.

Mayor Hong stated, “We will establish communication as a new urban culture in Gimhae, strive to attract the Northeast Asia logistics platform that will serve as a driving force to secure the city's future food sources for the next 100 years, and work toward the establishment of the provincial Gimhae Medical Center responsible for citizens' health sovereignty.”
