Gyeonggi Office of Education Announces First Exam Passers for Secondary Teachers on the 29th Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education Southern Office

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education announced the list of 3,028 candidates who passed the first round of exams for secondary school teachers.


On the 29th, the Gyeonggi Office of Education announced on its website the list of successful candidates for the first round of exams and the schedule for the second round of exams for the selection of candidates for secondary school teachers, including health, librarian, professional counseling, nutrition, and special education (secondary) teachers for 2023.


The number of first-round successful candidates by field for 36 public subjects is a total of 2,295: 2,256 applicants for 1,467 general positions, 13 applicants for 8 regional positions, and 26 applicants for 118 disability positions.


In addition, the Gyeonggi Office of Education disclosed the list of successful candidates for 9 applicants competing for 5 national special (secondary) positions and 724 applicants competing for 157 positions across 26 subjects in 44 private institutions.


Applicants can check their first-round pass status and scores themselves on the Gyeonggi Office of Education’s NAIS online staff recruitment system until January 19 of next year.


The second round of exams will be conducted for those who passed the first round. On January 12 of next year, practical evaluations will be held for arts and physical education subjects (music, art, physical education), followed by teaching ability assessments and in-depth interviews on teaching aptitude on January 18-19.


The exam locations will be held at 14 middle and high schools across six regions in the province: Gunpo, Seongnam, Ansan, Anyang, Hwaseong, and Osan. The final list of successful candidates will be announced on February 7 of next year through the Gyeonggi Office of Education website.
