To diversify exam subjects and select specialized environmental teachers, the Busan Office of Education signed a consignment contract in October with the National Institute of Environmental Human Resources Development under the Ministry of Environment for environmental subject exam preparation.

Through this consignment contract for environmental subject exam preparation, the Office of Education selected two environmental teachers nationwide in this exam, with three candidates passing the first exam.

The second exam will be held on January 12 at the Busan Student Education and Culture Center, Busan Physical Education High School, and Busan Electronics Technical High School, conducting practical exams in fields such as music, art, physical education, electrical, electronic, mechanical, and information/computer.

Following this, on January 18-19, at Busan Electronics Technical High School, Busan Information High School, and Yeomyeong Middle School, candidates will take the 'lesson plan preparation,' 'class demonstration,' and 'in-depth interview on teaching aptitude.'

Successful candidates from 13 private school corporations that entrusted the second exam will take part in some or all of the second exam conducted by the Busan Office of Education, while those from 30 corporations that only entrusted the first exam will take the second exam conducted by their respective private school corporations.

Final successful candidates will be announced on February 7, 2023: for public schools on the Office of Education's website, and for private schools by the respective school corporations that entrusted the second exam to the Office of Education.
