[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] The Jeonggwan Museum in Busan will operate an educational program for families with children aged 6 to 11 called "Our Family Museum Outing" during the winter vacation from January 3 to 5 and January 10 to 12, 2023 (1:00 PM to 2:30 PM).

This education program is linked to the Jeonggwan Museum's special children's exhibition "Let's Play with Flowers ? A Flower Journey to Ancient Times," themed around the flowers of antiquity, and will run a program called "All Flowers."

"All Flowers" is an educational program that explores historical stories related to flowers blooming in each season from January to December and creates a unique twelve-month calendar for each family using seasonal flowers.

Participants will learn about the concepts and meanings of flowers held by ancient people and reflect on the significance and presence of flowers in their own families today.

Participants will receive a 2023 twelve-month calendar produced by the Jeonggwan Museum and flower stickers illustrated with drawings. Using the flower stickers and various decorating materials, participants can create their own 2023 calendar.

There will also be a participation event where those who post reviews of the educational program on social networking services (SNS) will be entered into a draw to receive Jeonggwan Museum souvenirs.

Applications for participation can be made from 10:00 AM on the 26th via the Jeonggwan Museum website or the Busan City integrated reservation system. The number of participants is limited to 14 teams per session and will be closed on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no separate participation fee.

Park Miwook, director of the Jeonggwan Museum, said, "Winter is a season when activities decrease. We are grateful to the families who take the time to visit the museum in the new year, and we have prepared this educational program so that visiting families can have an enjoyable time. We hope many citizens with children will participate."
