Cold Wave Advisory Issued for Goyang and 3 Other Gyeonggi Areas

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunju Lee] The Korea Meteorological Administration announced on the 24th at 10 a.m. that a cold wave advisory will be issued for Goyang, Yongin, Uijeongbu, and Anseong.

A cold wave advisory is issued when the morning minimum temperature remains below -12 degrees Celsius for two or more consecutive days or when temperatures drop sharply, causing expected significant damage.

Meanwhile, the cold wave advisory has been lifted in 13 areas of Gyeonggi Province. The areas where the advisory was lifted are Suwon, Bucheon, Hwaseong, Ansan, Anyang, Pyeongtaek, Siheung, Gimpo, Gwangmyeong, Gunpo, Osan, Uiwang, and Gwacheon.
