Korea Specialty Contractors Association Uiryeong County Operations Committee Launches Year-End Neighbor Assistance Campaign

Donation of 10 Million Won Worth of Talent for Housing Environment Improvement and 3 Million Won to Military Scholarship Foundation

The Uiryeong County Operating Committee of the Gyeongsangnam-do Chapter of the Korea Specialty Contractors Association donated talent and scholarships to Uiryeong County, Gyeongsangnam-do.

The Uiryeong-gun Operations Committee of the Gyeongsangnam-do Chapter of the Korea Specialty Contractors Association donated volunteer services worth 10 million KRW for improving the housing environment of low-income vulnerable groups in the region and 3 million KRW in scholarships to the Uiryeong-gun Scholarship Foundation on the 22nd.

The talent donation volunteer activity "Fixing Houses with Love" involved housing environment improvement projects such as bathroom installation and kitchen remodeling for low-income high-difficulty case management targets and multicultural households residing in Burim-myeon, Uiryeong-gun. Construction began in mid-November and lasted for a month, with a completion ceremony scheduled for the 28th.

Kim Kyung-do, the Operations Committee Chairman, said, "I am glad to help provide a safe and comfortable home to neighbors suffering from poor housing conditions. We will continue to take the lead in contributing to the local community."

Oh Tae-wan, the county governor, said, "I appreciate the dedication and efforts of the volunteers who brighten Uiryeong-gun with unwavering passion despite the cold weather. The scholarships donated with the members' sincerity and love for the region will be used generously to support outstanding local students to grow into top talents with big dreams and hopes."

The Uiryeong-gun Operations Committee of the Korea Specialty Contractors Association consists of representatives of specialty construction companies operating in Uiryeong-gun and continuously practices neighborly love through housing environment improvements for low-income marginalized groups and scholarship donations.
