[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Lotte Duty Free announced on the 23rd that it will introduce the American high-end luxury jewelry brand ‘David Yurman’ to Korea for the first time.
David Yurman is a representative American luxury jewelry brand established in New York in 1980. The founders, David Yurman and Sybil Yurman, are a sculptor and a ceramist, and the founder’s craftsmanship is fully reflected in the collection, characterized by unique yet practical designs. It has grown into a global jewelry brand loved by famous actors such as Scarlett Johansson, Brad Pitt, and Henry Golding.
The Cable collection, which features spiral shapes of various thicknesses, is representative, and the products range from silver items to high-priced diamond pieces with delicate craftsmanship. Lotte Duty Free plans to strengthen its men’s jewelry line, focusing on David Yurman’s bracelets and necklaces in chain and buckle forms, reflecting the recent fashion trend of genderless looks that blur gender boundaries.
A Lotte Duty Free official said, “We have uniquely introduced overseas jewelry brands such as Damiani, Boucheron, Chaumet, and Colof to the domestic duty-free industry, enhancing our competitiveness in the jewelry market,” adding, “As the jewelry market grows, we will strengthen our brand lines and expand online shopping services so that customers can confidently purchase high-priced jewelry through the online duty-free store.”
