[Jeonnam Fire News] Director Kim Jo-il Visits Fire-Vulnerable Facilities for On-Site Guidance etc.

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Kim Jo-il, head of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, visited fire-vulnerable facilities in the province to provide on-site fire safety management guidance in celebration of Christmas and the New Year.


According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 22nd, Director Kim visited a nursing hospital located in Muan-gun on the same day to check fire prevention measures, inspected fire facilities inside and outside the nursing hospital with the Muan Fire Station chief, and urged officials to thoroughly manage safety.


He also emphasized the importance of autonomous safety management to the officials, explaining rapid evacuation plans such as placing patients with mobility difficulties on the first floor, reinforcing evacuation facilities, and initial response by officials before the fire brigade arrives in case of fire.


Director Kim said, "Small carelessness and negligence can lead to major accidents," and urged, "Since the risk of fire increases in winter, please pay attention to fire prevention and make every effort to ensure safety management."

◆ 'Improving Civil Complaint Satisfaction' Public Officials' Telephone Courtesy Training Conducted


The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Director Kim Jo-il) conducted telephone courtesy training for public officials from the 21st to the 22nd to improve civil complaint satisfaction and public service.


About 160 fire station employees attended this training, which was conducted by inviting a professional instructor based on the telephone courtesy survey results carried out by an external specialized institution over three months since last September.


The training helped employees understand telephone answering methods, telephone manners, and response techniques that public officials should know, especially using actual cases of Jeonnam Fire employees secured through this survey as educational materials.


In addition, participants were guided on laws and systems related to integrity, differences in integrity perceptions between public officials and citizens, and integrity improvement education was conducted concurrently.


Director Kim Jo-il said, "Recognize that the kindness of public officials is the beginning of integrity, and strive to improve civil complaint satisfaction by making kindness a daily habit."
