[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] The Korea Senior Citizens Association Yeongyang-gun Branch was selected as an excellent branch in the community contribution category of the Senior Center Happiness Helper Support Project at the ‘2022 Senior Center Happiness Helper Support Project Awards Ceremony’ held at the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government Dongnak Hall on the 21st, receiving the CEO Award from the Gyeongbuk Happiness Foundation.
The Senior Center Happiness Helper Support Project is a Gyeongbuk-type senior center operation model project that encompasses health, leisure, education, and welfare for senior citizens at senior centers. It plays a role in establishing a social safety net by operating diverse and differentiated programs tailored to the needs of users at each senior center and linking services to discover welfare blind spots for seniors not using the centers.
The Korea Senior Citizens Association Yeongyang-gun Branch was selected as an excellent branch at the 2022 Senior Center Revitalization Project Evaluation Contest held on the 6th at the KT Human Resources Development Center in Daejeon, hosted by the Korea Senior Citizens Association, and received a commendation from the President of the Korea Senior Citizens Association. This award is given to outstanding branches in senior center revitalization among 244 branches nationwide, and Yeongyang-gun Branch was honored with this award.
