On December 15th, Orange Shock Co., Ltd. (CEO Ko Tae-yoon) signed an MOU with Wella Korea (SPW KOREA LLC) for joint IP development and marketing business cooperation. On this day, Lee Cheon-yong, CEO of Wella Korea, Ko Tae-yoon, CEO of Orange Shock, and executives from both companies attended.
Starting from this agreement, Orange Shock plans to leverage its character and content development capabilities to conduct various promotional activities targeting the MZ generation consumers familiar with digital content, based on the premium hair care brand image of Wella Professionals. Wella Korea also plans to further increase its market share and diversify its new business by launching aggressive marketing targeting the MZ generation through this strategic partnership with Orange Shock.
Ko Tae-yoon, CEO of Orange Shock, said, “Although hair care is a field we encounter closely in daily life, I believe there have not been many collaborations utilizing IP in this area yet. Through this strategic partnership, Wella Professionals’ brand will effectively reach new customers, and we will create various revenue models not only by collaborating with existing famous IPs but also by utilizing new IPs.”
