[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on the 16th that it will hold a Christmas commemorative event on the pet community service 'OmoOmo'.
The Christmas event, which started on the 15th, rewards Santa costumes and Rudolph costumes upon completing specific missions, and features a Santa sleigh in the sky and a large tree in the main square.
The large tree appearing in this event allows users to step on gift boxes or branches to climb up and see the tree, and to receive the Rudolph costume item, participants must complete missions hidden throughout, adding fun to the event participation.
The reason for adding these fun elements is due to the high proportion of young users on 'OmoOmo'.
'OmoOmo' has the largest proportion of teenagers among all members, and especially the MZ generation accounts for 70% of the total members, making it a young community service. This is also the highest figure among all digital services of financial companies.
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance plans to let these young users find their own play culture rather than teaching them a fixed way to use the service.
A representative of Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance's 'OmoOmo' said, “We prepared this event to create a joyful Christmas for users,” and added, “We will continue to be 'OmoOmo' that contributes to a joyful and healthy companion culture in various ways.”
